My Role at BCS
I serve as a manager in the tax department. A majority of my work involves preparation of pass through entities and corporate tax returns. I also prepare, review and sign individual tax returns. My favorite part of my job is helping clients understand their tax return and why this year is different from the last.
Education and Experience
I graduated from Clemson University in 2004 with a degree in Accounting. I obtained the educational requirements for CPA certification at the University of South Carolina and became a CPA licensed in South Carolina. I also obtained my Tennessee CPA license when I moved to Tennessee.
Community Involvement and Personal Notes
My wife (Amanda) and I live in Jonesborough with our two daughters. Our girls attend University School at East Tennessee State University and are involved in ballet, gymnastics and cheer. I start my days early. This allows me to pick the girls up from school everyday and shuffle them between their afterschool activities.
