My Role at BCS
I consider myself incredibly blessed to be a part of the BCS family. They say if you love your job, you will never work a day in your life, and this has been my experience thus far. Each morning I look forward to going in to work and I am grateful for the chance to serve clients and collaborate with my peers. Contrary to popular belief, as an accountant, my days are never boring. As a Tax/CAS crossover, I get to serve clients in a wide variety of services, providing them with financial peace of mind. I enjoy running payrolls, reconciling bank accounts, preparing financial statements, and seeing how it all comes together on a tax return. I am excited for the opportunities ahead of me as I continue to work and grow in this firm.
Education and Experience
I earned my BBA and MAcc degrees at ETSU in 2021 and 2022 respectively. I passed my CPA exam this year and I am a new member of the AICPA and the TSCPA. My time at BCS began with an internship in 2022 which flourished into a full-time career in 2023. Before my time here, I worked as a bookkeeper for Keller Williams and a team leader at Chick-fil-a where I got to develop my leadership and teambuilding skills, as well as experience working for the public. This has proven to be helpful in my time at BCS thus far and I look forward to learning and growing here in the years to come.
Community Involvement and Personal Notes
I am an active member of my church and I also enjoy blessing others with my love for music. I play the violin and look for opportunities to use this gift to bring joy to those around me. I am also blessed to participate in many of the service projects we do as a firm such as the United Way week of Caring. In all that I do, whether that be work or play, I am looking for new ways to serve my community and steward my talents and gifts for the glory of God.
