My Role at BCS

I am a Supervisor in the Client Advisory Services Department with a crossover in Tax. I enjoy helping our clients with their accounting needs including new business set-up, bookkeeping, payroll, and state and local compliance (sales tax and business taxes). I also provide individual and business tax return filing and tax planning.

Education and Experience

I returned home to Tennessee in 2016 after receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Wofford College. I then obtained a Master’s of Accountancy degree from East Tennessee State University in 2017, and I am a licensed CPA in the state of Tennessee. I am a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA). I also earned my Advanced certification in QuickBooks Online.

Community Involvement and Personal Notes

My wife and I currently live in Bristol, Tennessee with our two children. We are very active at Avoca Christian Church where my wife is the Children’s Minister and I serve as a Trustee. I also serve on the Board of the United Way of East Tennessee Highlands. We enjoy spending time with family, going to the lake, and traveling.
