New Electronic Filing Requirements for Professional Privilege Tax

All professional privilege tax returns filed on or after January 1, 2013, must be filed electronically. The Tennessee Dept. of Revenue will no longer be mailing out Professional Privilege Tax forms. Therefore, go online and pay your $400.00 on or before June 1st. Below is the link to the payment site:

Affected individuals are those with an active Tennessee license or registration to practice any of the following professions and thus will need to file and pay this occupational tax:

Accountant, Agent (Securities), Architect, Attorney, Audiologist, Broker-Dealer (Agents), Chiropractor, Dentist, Engineer, Investment Advisor, Landscape Architect, Lobbyist, Optometrist, Osteopathic Physician, Pharmacist, Physician, Podiatrist, Prof. Athlete (NHL, NBA), Psychologist, Real Estate Principal Broker, Speech Pathologist, Sports Agent, Veterinarian.
