My Role at BCS

I am an Associate in our Managed Accounting Services department. I serve clients in multiple industries. I enjoy any opportunity to teach a client and increase their knowledge on a topic.

I provide services such as bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, payroll, W2 and 1099 preparation, sales tax, business tax license returns, and financial statement preparation.

I write and compile documents that detail step-by-step instructions for processes of tasks done in the Managed Accounting Services department. Providing another level of client service, I write accounting blogs that are published on LinkedIn, Facebook, and the BCS website.

Education and Experience

I graduated from East Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Master of Accountancy. During my time at East Tennessee State University, I was the Reporting Secretary for the Beta Alpha Psi Eta Omega Chapter. While in school I interned at Dent K. Burk Associates, preparing individual and corporate tax returns. After joining BCS, I earned my QuickBooks Online Certified ProAdvisor designation.

Community Involvement and Personal Notes

I am an author with books for sale on Amazon. I use my recognition and responsibility as an author to serve people in many positive ways. I go to the library and educate teens on how to find a career that fits their life purpose. I also hosted a writing workshop for teenagers at the library. I was the Ring Announcer for a professional wrestling show whose proceeds benefited The Autism Society of East Tennessee. I hosted a writing workshop at Rob-Con, a comic book and author’s convention. I go to nursing homes, engaging them in entertaining poetry and storytelling. From elementary school, to college, to present day, I am always tutoring someone through a math/accounting class or problem.
