My Role at BCS
My role at BCS is much more than preparing and reviewing tax returns. While I do commit a good portion of my time to this, I truly enjoy helping clients understand the financial aspects of business. Tax planning is a major financial aspect of any business, and I enjoy sharing my expertise to optimize business strategies with that in mind.
Education and Experience
I graduated from Sam Houston State University in Texas with a BBA (Major in accounting). While in school, I worked part time at a CPA firm. Between my time there, Dallas, and East Tennessee, I have worked in public accounting for 7+ years in the Real Estate, Medical, and Oil & Gas industries, as well as worked with professional athletes and High Net Worth individuals.
Community Involvement and Personal Notes
My family and I attend Crosspath Church in Johnson City, where I am also the Treasurer. We have really been drawn to the church’s commitment to core values and relationships and I would highly recommend checking it out! We are also often at kids’ sporting events – baseball, soccer, football – we love sports!
