My Role at BCS

I consider myself incredibly blessed to be a part of the BCS family. Every morning I look forward to going in to work and I am grateful for the chance to serve clients and encourage my peers. Contrary to popular belief, as an accountant, my days are never boring. As a Tax/MAS crossover, I get to perform a variety of services and every day is full of new learning experiences. I enjoy preparing financial statements and then seeing how everything comes together on a tax return. I am excited for the opportunities ahead of me as I continue to work and grow in this firm.

Education and Experience

I graduated from ETSU with a Masters of Accountancy in December 2022, and I am currently working on becoming a Certified Public Accountant. I have one test down and three to go! I started out as an intern in the tax department, and now I am a full-time staff about to finish up my second year. Before my time here, I worked as a team leader at Chick-fil-a where I got to develop my leadership and teambuilding skills, as well as experience working for the public. This has proven to be helpful in my time at BCS thus far and I look forward to learning and growing here in the years to come.

Community Involvement and Personal Notes

I am currently involved with my church’s young adult’s ministry. I serve on the leadership team coordinating community service projects and outreach events, and being an overall friendly face for newcomers in my church. I am also blessed to participate in many of the service projects we do as a firm such as the United Way week of Caring.  As I transition from the role of student to working young adult, I am looking for new ways to serve my community and steward my talents and gifts for the glory of God.
