Jessica Bruner, CPA joined the BCS Team in January 2019 in the Johnson City Tax Department. Jessica graduated from East Tennessee State University with a BBA in Accounting in 2008 and with a Master’s in Accounting in 2012. She passed the CPA exam in 2014. She has worked in Public Accounting since Fall 2014 with Audit Experience of Nonprofits, HUD Entities, Financial Institutions and Tax Experience for Individuals, Partnerships, Corporations, Nonprofits and Construction. She worked in the accounting department of a manufacturing plant for seven years prior to Public Accounting.
Jessica is currently the President of the Appalachian Chapter of the TSCPA and serves as a member of the TSCPA’s Council. She also served on the TSCPA’s Young CPA Committee from 2016-2017. Jessica is a graduate of the 2019-2020 Lead! Bristol Class.
Jessica enjoys spending time with her pets (three cats and two dogs!), reading, embroidery/needlework, working out, and hiking.
