My Role at BCS
I provide and manage accounting and taxation services for both business and individuals. My tax focus is mainly individual and entity returns – C Corporations, S Corporations, Limited Liability Companies and Partnerships. My accounting services range from traditional accounting, including payroll, bookkeeping, state, and local tax compliance, to more in-depth services such as preparing financial statements, compilations, and related advisory services.
Education and Experience
I graduated with honors from East Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. I have been a licensed CPA in Tennessee since 1993. I have over 20 years of experience in public accounting and financial institution operations.
Community Involvement and Personal Notes
My family and I attend First Christian Church of Johnson City, where I serve in the parking and greeting ministries. I am a past member of the Elizabethton Kiwanis Club where I served as president, treasurer, and director. I also served a six-year term on the Elizabethton/Carter County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. I have also volunteered for various youth sports boards.
