My Role at BCS
I am a Manager in our Managed Accounting Services Department. I enjoy working with clients of all types, sizes, and industries better understand their accounting processes and evaluate areas for efficiency and improvement. I provide traditional accounting solutions such as bookkeeping, payroll, and state and local compliance (sales tax and business taxes), as well as more in-depth advisory services which can include out-sourced Controller or CFO solutions. I also provide individual and business tax return filing and tax planning.
Education and Experience
I earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree in accounting from East Tennessee State University, and I am a licensed CPA in the state of Tennessee. I am a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Community Involvement and Personal Notes
I am from Elizabethton, TN, where I currently reside with my wife and 3 children. We enjoy spending time with family and being outdoors. My wife and I serve the college and young adult small groups at our church. I also serve on the Board of the United Way of East Tennessee Highlands.
