Welcome! Wipe your shoes off outside, enter the door, pour yourself a refreshing soda pop, and let us take the grand tour. I am not George Jones, nor can I sing like him, but, like George Jones, I can take you on the grand tour. The grand tour of the Tennessee Department of Labor & Workforce Development’s new Employer e-Services SUTA website.
The new Tennessee SUTA website went live on May 27, 2025. Start by signing up for an online account at https://jobs4tnui.tn.gov/employer/_/. Signing up requires having a Letter ID, which can be requested. Once you have a Letter ID, provide an email address, password, security question, and phone number to create a login. Once logged in, you will see submissions, messages, letters, and payments and wage reports.
Submissions are returns and payments submitted online for processing. The submissions screen will show the current 12 months, with submissions older than 12 months being found through the search.
Messages to and from the agency are available for view. Send a message provides four message area groups, that when clicked on, provide more individual topics within that group to message about. The groups are UI Benefits, UI Tax/Payroll, Appeals and Protests, and Web Account.
Letters received from the agency are viewable. Letters older than 12 months are found using search. Letters in inbox can be moved to Archived.
Payments and Wage Reports allows you to manage payments and wage reports for accounts associated to your business. An ICESA Wage Report can be filed here. The ICESA format allows employers to submit bulk wage reports. A Word document shows ICESA bulk upload guidelines and formatting. An ICESA sample file is available.
Additional information carried over from the old TNPAWS website is rate information and the data itself. TNPAWS logins did not carry over into the new website, as old TNPAWS logins are not compliant with the new website.
Rocky the Raccoon is an artificial intelligence digital assistant. Type your question in the chat box and receive a detailed answer. If the answer is not helpful, let the Tennessee Department of Labor & Workforce Development know by clicking on this answer doesn’t make sense.
For company third party administrators, logins for all teammates can be assigned with their individual emails. Clients can then be assigned under each individual teammate login, with the ability to customize which clients are assigned to each teammate. Another option is that all teammates in the company can have access to all clients. Client approval is not required to add new clients through the system.
For answers to frequently asked questions for both Employers and Third Party Administrators, visit https://www.tn.gov/workforce/employers/tax-and-insurance-redirect/unemployment-insurance-tax/modernization-project.html under “FAQs About New UI Tax System”. For Employers and Third-Party Administrators, recorded webinar demonstrations are available under “Learn More About the New UI Tax System.”
George Jones asked the rhetorical question who is going to fill their shoes. When you ask the question who is going to help me navigate this new website, the answer is Blackburn, Childers, and Steagall. Call us at 423-282-4511 for assistance.
