My Role at BCS
I recently start my career a BCS in April of 2025 as a crossover associate helping in both tax and audit. As a crossover associate, I will be helping the tax team during future tax seasons, giving me the opportunity to hone my skills in both tax and audit. I am currently working to complete my CPA certification and utilizing my on-the-job experience to help me achieve this goal.
Education and Experience
I previously spent 2 years working at Forvis Mazars where I focused on annual financial statement audits as well as employee benefit plans. Before then, I earned my bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Clemson University with a minor in Business Administration. Minoring in Business Admin introduced me to intermediate accounting and enjoyed it from the jump. This led to me purse my master’s in accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where I concentrated on both Tax and Audit. I am a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
Community Involvement and Personal Notes
My boyfriend, Jonah, are originally from Charleston, South Carolina and currently live in Johnson City where we enjoy hiking, traveling, and attending sporting events. We are currently trying to visit every Major League Baseball stadium in the U.S. and have completed 21 out of the 30! I enjoy volunteering for Habitat for Humanity and my local church. I am looking forward to my future here at BCS.
