The Child Advocacy Center of the 3rd Judicial District is located in Greeneville, and serves the counties of Greene, Hamblen, Hancock and Hawkins. Their mission statement is “Using our hearts and our hands, we can make a difference in the lives of children.” They assist and coordinate support services for the victims of child abuse and neglect, as well as providing a place for investigations, accompaniment on medical exams and referrals, therapy, victim services, and community awareness and involvement.
We collected toys, individual serving sizes of food and snacks, books, movies and a TV/VCR for the CAC in addition to the monetary donation we raised within the firm.
