Week 27 – Animal Shelters

From Lorrie Hale:

The response for the Animal Shelter Supply Drive from the employees was great!  We had over 20 bags of dog and cat food donated as well as canned food, blankets and cleaning supplies.  These little animals can’t tell you how thankful they are but you can see it in their precious eyes.  Helping those that can’t help themselves is best way to give.

From Brooke Davis:

The Greeneville-Greene County Humane Society provides an invaluable service to the local community. My husband and I have adopted both of our dogs from this shelter, and they truly light up our lives. This organization provides temporary homes, love, and care to countless deserving animals every year, and our donations will help them continue on with this incredible service.

From Chuck Huffman:

I’m so thankful we included the Animal Shelter in our 50 weeks of giving.  It was “eye-opening” when I delivered our gifts last week.  I was greeted with tears of joy as they had just run out of puppy food.  I’ve taken for granted their need in the past.  Something we may take for granted is greatly appreciated by those we are hoping to touch this year.  I plan on making a personal donation of pet food every month as I purchase food for pets to make sure this gift goes on and on in the future.
