There is an important change to the TNTAP website effective September 1, 2017 that will affect anyone filing their monthly sales tax returns online without creating a login. Effective September 1, 2017, the TNTAP website will no longer offer the option to file without creating a login. There are instructions and demos available on the TNTAP website, or you may contact any member of the Managed Accounting Services department at BCS to assist you.
Keep in mind, there is specific information needed to create your login including your sales tax account number, tax ID (SSN or EIN), legal business name, zip code associated with the sales tax account, and the payment amount from one of your last three filings, or a letter ID from the top of any letter or notice sent since March 2017. This process must be completed before your next sales tax return is due. Change can be difficult, but the BCS Managed Accounting Services department is here to help you navigate the process.
