Blackburn, Childers & Steagall, PLC (BCS) has over 30 years of experience in auditing governmental entities. We currently serve municipalities in both Tennessee and Virginia.

A team is assigned to each client for the duration of the audit, utilizing the knowledge and experience of numerous professionals. BCS has extensive experience with all GASB statements and our staff is committed to staying informed of the most current Statements on Auditing Standards.

In addition to working with our client’s staff to conduct an efficient and effective audit, we work closely with management to identify upcoming issues due to changes in law and new accounting and auditing standards.

Several of our clients have received the Government Finance Officers Association Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting.
