2006 Dragon Boat Race

Blackburn, Childers & Steagall, PLC was proud to be both a sponsor and a competitor in the first annual Tri-Cities Dragon Boat Race which was held on Saturday, September 30, 2006 at Winged Deer Park. Although we are competitive group and were excited about the challenge of preparing for the races, raising funds for the Children’s Hospital capital campaign by the Mountain States Foundation was our true reason for participation. Race day was a huge success as the BCS team paddled their way to being part of the top 12 and earned the right to compete in the bronze metal division!
