David Greene, JD

David Greene graduated summa cum laude from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Finance collateral.  He then completed his Law Degree from Washington and Lee University School of Law, concentrating his course work in tax law, corporate law and estate planning. He is licensed to practice in Tennessee and Virginia.  David spent several years practicing estate planning and administration in Kingsport for clients of all wealth levels before joining the tax department at Blackburn, Childers & Steagall where he focuses on individual and fiduciary tax compliance. 

David attends Westminster Presbyterian Church in Kingsport, where he teaches a Sunday School class for 6-8 year-olds.  David also serves as Treasurer for the Biblical Worldview Student Conference, an annual conference designed to assist high school and college-aged students in developing a Biblical world and life view.  He also volunteers as a Mock Trial coach for area homeschoolers, and his two teams were crowned district co-champions in 2011. He is a native of Kingsport, Tennessee where he resides with his wife and daughter.
