Cathy Peters
Cathy Peters has more than 30 years experience providing accounting and tax services to a wide variety of clients. Prior to her moving to East Tennessee in 1975, she was employed by the IRS and worked at the Memphis Service Center. Cathy received her B.S in Accounting from University of Memphis in 1975 and her CPA certification in 1977. She completed the AICPA Personal Financial Planning Certification Program in 1992. Cathy is a member of the AICPA and the TSCPA. She has served on the Board of Directors of the TSCPA and a Past President of the Appalachian Chapter of the TSCPA. Cathy’s primary focus is in the field of taxation and specializes in tax and accounting for professionals.
Cathy is currently a member of the Kingsport Downtown Rotary Club and a member of the Altar Guild at St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church. Cathy and her husband Tom reside in Kingsport. Cathy enjoys flower gardening, “bargain shopping” and playing with her granddaughter.
