Lois Oiler

A native of Jacksonville, Florida, Lois moved to Tennessee in 1984. She is a 1992 graduate of Milligan College, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Before coming to work at Blackburn, Childers, and Steagall, PLC, she worked as a junior accountant for a year and a half at another local accounting firm. Lois has been employed at Blackburn, Childers, and Steagall, PLC since October, 1994. Her duties include preparing tax returns and compilations and reviews, as well as being a member of the audit staff. Lois has completed courses in the Annual BCS tax update, Advanced Update for Compilation and Review Engagements, BCS In-house tax workshop, and NCPE Corp. & Partnership workshop.

Lois and her husband David have two daughters, Annika & Makenna. Dave is Assistant Vice President of Consumer and Mortgage Lending at Citizens Bank in Elizabethton. They reside in Jonesborough and are members of First Christian Church, Johnson City. Lois’s hobbies are gardening and scrap booking. She also plays the flute and sings in the Church Choir.
